Boots Construction is a Denver-based interior construction company specializing in high-end commercial interiors, office spaces, and specialized renovation projects. With more than 25 years building in Colorado, a 10-year average employee tenure, and 2,400+ projects delivered, the company had already earned a strong reputation through relationships, referrals, and high-quality work.
Blennd partnered with Boots Construction to create a modern “trophy website” that better matched the company’s real-world reputation. The goal was not to create a complex lead-generation machine, but to build a polished digital presence that looked as professional, established, and detail-oriented as the company itself. As the team described it during handoff, the site needed to help Boots look “professional and dialed in online” when someone received a word-of-mouth referral and went to validate the company.

The Challenge

Boots Construction had grown beyond its existing website. The previous site had served its purpose, but it was outdated, less effective on mobile, and no longer reflected the quality of the company’s current work. Leadership wanted the new site to feel more modern, visual, and direct, with less emphasis on long-form history and more emphasis on the projects, people, and proof that define the business today.
The biggest challenge was creating a website that felt premium without overcomplicating the experience. Boots had strong photography, video, and project assets, but the site needed a cleaner way to showcase them. The client wanted larger images, simpler messaging, stronger project presentation, and a more digestible experience across every page. As the team noted during proposal review, the site needed to immediately communicate what Boots does, then support that story with thoughtful details below.

The Solution

Blennd designed a refined website experience centered on the strength of Boots Construction’s project portfolio. The new site uses large-scale photography, clean white space, minimal navigation, and concise messaging to let the work speak for itself. Instead of overwhelming users with dense copy, each page opens with clear context and then gives visitors a simple path into featured projects, services, team information, and contact details.
A key part of the build was the project system. Blennd planned a custom project structure that allows Boots to organize work by categories such as legal offices, life science, corporate interiors, capital improvements, education, government, and retail. The system was designed to support featured projects, manual ordering, and a more flexible way to present the company’s best work up front.
The site also included practical workflow improvements. Because Boots already posts updates on LinkedIn, Blennd planned a LinkedIn feed integration to pull posts into the website and reduce duplicate content entry. The team also discussed adding RB2B tracking so Boots could better understand which companies and prospects were visiting the site, giving the team more visibility into referral and pursuit activity.

Because the company had a strong library of project photography, Blennd used large visuals, open white space, simple typography, and restrained interface elements to create a portfolio experience that felt elevated without getting in the way of the work.
The design centers around the company’s strongest assets: high-end interiors, polished commercial spaces, and the craftsmanship behind each project. Project pages were structured to feel more like an architectural portfolio than a traditional construction website, with large imagery, concise details, category-based browsing, and mobile-first layouts that make the work easy to explore from any device.
The result is a digital experience that feels modern, confident, and highly visual while still supporting practical business needs. Visitors can quickly understand who Boots is, what they build, and why the company is trusted for complex commercial interiors across Colorado.
