Paid Media Manager (Contract / Hourly)

Blennd is seeking a senior-level Paid Media Manager to own and operate paid acquisition across multiple client accounts. This is a true end-to-end paid media role — from strategy through execution, optimization, and reporting.
This role is best suited for an experienced solo consultant or full-time contractor who is actively building their book of business. In our experience, this is not a good fit for someone attempting to layer this on top of a full-time job, and we want to be transparent about that upfront.
You will be supported by our Project Managers, Head of Growth, designers, and developers — but you will be the primary owner of paid media strategy and performance.
- Own paid media strategy across B2B, ABM, and B2C/DTC clients.
- Develop multi-channel media plans aligned to client goals and funnel stages.
- Prepare creative briefs and collaborate with design and copy teams.
- Build, launch, and manage campaigns across platforms (“pull the levers”).
- Set up, maintain, and validate tracking, attribution, and reporting.
- Actively optimize campaigns toward client KPIs (not vanity metrics).
- Participate in:
- 4–6 hours/week of pre-scheduled client and internal meetings (attendance is required).
- Ongoing async collaboration via Slack and email.
- Agency experience or experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.
- Broad paid media background across: B2B, ABM, B2C / DTC
- Proven ability to build and execute multi-channel strategies.
- Senior-level experience with: Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Mid-level experience with: LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Snap Ads, X (Twitter) Ads
- Strong experience with: Analytics and performance reporting, Conversion tracking and attribution, KPI-driven optimization
- Comfortable working within agency operations: Project management tools, Ticketing systems, Time tracking
- Ability to: Scope and estimate time requirements, Report against time allocation, Be accountable to mutually agreed timelines and deliverables
