Head of Growth (Fractional Contract)

Blennd is actively seeking a dynamic and seasoned Head of Growth who is passionate about driving business growth through ROI-focused digital strategies via diverse digital marketing channels. Our ideal candidate has a proven track record in digital strategy across paid media, SEO, CRO, UX/UI optimization, and Go-to-Market strategies and can look at each channel (and their teams) as optional resources in the development of a winning global marketing strategy for each of our clients. They will have adept relationship-building abilities and a knack for helping implement efficient processes.
This role will involve managing end-to-end digital marketing campaigns: from initial discovery and creative strategy development, to seamless implementation, insightful performance tracking, and comprehensive success reporting. The success of this role will be defined by 3 areas of focus:
ROI-focused Campaign Performance: Strategize, coordinate implementation, and optimize high-value ROI-driven digital campaigns across various channels to boost traffic, leads, and conversions while optimizing the advertising budget.
Innovative and Comprehensive Digital Strategy: Develop cutting-edge digital marketing strategies through market research, data insights, and staying ahead of industry trends.
Team Collaboration and Leadership: Foster a collaborative environment, lead cross-functional teams comprised of channel-specific experts, and effectively communicate objectives and results to drive success.
- Growth System Leadership: Develop and lead comprehensive digital-marketing growth systems that integrate content marketing, paid media, SEO, CRO, outbound tactics, and more.
- Innovative Strategies: Drive forward-thinking GTM initiatives that leverage AI, agentic automation, and holistic growth systems to design, execute, and optimize high-impact campaigns.
- Well-Rounded & Diverse Growth Expertise: Combine proven leadership of CRM-driven high-ticket lead-gen programs with distinct successes in scaling e-commerce membership and D2C funnels, delivering a multifaceted perspective on revenue growth.

Client Communication Excellence: Serve as a confident, client-facing partner—delivering clear updates, translating complex insights into actionable recommendations, and fostering long-term relationships through proactive, transparent dialogue.
- Efficient Project Execution: Collaborate with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure efficient execution of tasks and seamless campaign implementation.
- KPI’s & Performance Reporting: Establish client-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) up front, then implement robust tracking mechanisms and deliver comprehensive reporting to monitor progress.
- Data Analysis and Solutions: Analyze, research, and propose solutions for tracking, analytics, performance, and other challenges to drive campaign success.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with Director of Operations to continuously improve internal and external processes to enhance efficiency, campaign efficacy, and productivity.
- Lead Nurturing Strategies: Deploy lead nurturing strategies, such as automated drip campaigns, sequences, and retargeting, to drive customer engagement.
- Unified Marketing Language: Collaborate with the Blennd team to ensure consistent and effective marketing language throughout the customer journey.
- Upselling & Account Growth Optimization: Recognize and assess opportunities to expand client account fees through growth-minded strategies and targeted service add-ons.
- Strategic Budget Allocation: Manage media plans and budget allocation for all accounts and platforms, ensuring accurate spending to achieve maximum ROI.
- Internal Marketing Initiatives: Support and execute internal growth initiatives for Blennd to drive brand visibility and scalability.
- Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends in digital marketing to keep Blennd at the forefront of the industry.
- Time Management and Adherence: Accurately track time spent on tasks, adhere to project hours, scope requirements, and timelines.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with support contractors and specialist support to ensure effective campaign execution.
- Leverage Contractor Relationships: Effectively leverage contractor relationships to enhance overall campaign success and efficiency.
- Quarterly Objective Execution: Execute quarterly objectives and to-do lists aligned with the company’s growth and performance goals.
- 5+ years digital marketing experience required, 2+ years leading teams
- Experience in digital marketing for both lead gen and e-commerce brands
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing ROI-focused digital marketing campaigns across various channels, with a track record of achieving measurable results and exceeding performance targets.
- Experience guiding creative strategy including overseeing copy and ad designs to ensure alignment with campaigns and strategy.
- Experience generating and executing lead nurturing activities such as email, sms, and other post conversion drip campaigns.
- Experience managing paid media campaigns across multiple platforms such as Meta, Google, Bing, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, and programmatic advertising
- A strong background in developing innovative and data-driven digital marketing strategies, including market research, competitor analysis, and the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Data Studio to conduct audits, set up conversion tracking, measure campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-backed recommendations for continuous improvement and success
- A history of collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams, such as Project Managers, SEO teams, designers, and data analysts, to ensure efficient campaign execution and alignment with overall business objectives.
- Prior experience working in a digital marketing agency or similar fast-paced environment, managing multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously, while delivering exceptional service and maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Experience building lead gen programs including gated inbound assets and other technical B2B strategies
- Experience developing and optimizing outbound and go-to-market strategies; and forward thinking as it relates to AI, agentic automation, and growth systems.

This is a contract role structured as a fractional leadership position. Compensation is offered as a flat monthly rate or hourly rate, depending on the level of experience and desired engagement structure.
The pay range for this role is $50–$80 per hour or equivalent monthly rate. Final terms will be based on experience, scope, and availability.
Compensation may be reviewed and adjusted based on performance and evolving project needs.
