Senior AI Search / SEO Strategist

Blennd is looking for a contract Digital Marketing Project Manager / Strategist who can lead client relationships, manage account priorities, coordinate specialists, and bring strong strategic thinking to multi-channel digital marketing programs.

The ideal candidate has experience leading B2B client accounts across full-funnel strategies that may include SEO/AEO, paid media, CRO, content, analytics, nurture, retargeting, and reporting.

This is not a hands-on channel execution role. Instead, this person will work with internal and external specialists to keep strategy and execution aligned, evaluate performance, identify what is working and what is not, and turn channel-level activity into clear client recommendations.

We are looking for someone who understands B2B marketing environments with longer sales cycles, complex services, multiple decision-makers, and a need to connect marketing activity to qualified leads, pipeline, and revenue outcomes.


About the role

We’re a Denver-based digital marketing agency hiring a senior AI search / SEO strategist to take over multiple B2B client accounts. Ongoing, 10-20 hours per week. US-based and client-facing.

This is a full-stack SEO role (onsite, technical, content, offsite), but we specifically need someone who is genuinely excellent at two things:

1. AEO / AI search optimization. Real, current practice getting B2B clients surfaced and cited in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI answer engines. Not “I read about AEO.” We want your actual method.

2. Offsite / off-page. Digital PR, link acquisition, and entity/authority building for B2B. This is where most SEO contractors are weak, and where we need strength.

You will:

– Own SEO and AEO strategy and execution across several B2B clients
– Build and defend entity authority and earn citations in AI search
– Run offsite campaigns (digital PR, links, authority signals)
– Handle the full SEO stack: technical audits, onsite optimization, content direction
– Join client calls and present strategy and results directly (this is a client-facing role)
How we start: the first 2-3 weeks are a paid pilot on a single client (an AEO/SEO audit and a 90-day plan). Once we’ve seen your work, we expand you across the full client book.

Requirements:

– Demonstrable, current AEO/GEO practice with real examples
– Strong offsite / digital PR / link building track record
– B2B experience (required)
– Full-stack SEO capability (technical, onsite, content, offsite)
– Excellent communication; comfortable presenting to clients as part of our team
– US-based
