About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead digital marketing accounts, including client communication, meetings, priorities, timelines, follow-up, and day-to-day project momentum
- Translate client goals into clear cross-channel plans across SEO/AEO, paid media, CRO, content, analytics, reporting, nurture, retargeting, and related workstreams
- Coordinate internal team members, contractors, and specialists to keep strategy, execution, deliverables, and client goals aligned
- Evaluate performance, identify what is working or underperforming, and turn data/specialist input into clear client-facing recommendations
- Prepare, review, and present reporting tied to performance, lead quality, pipeline, conversion, and business outcomes
- Identify blockers, gaps, risks, opportunities, and strategic adjustments before they become larger account issues
- Contribute thinking around AI, AEO, and the changing search/discovery landscape
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing project management, account strategy, growth marketing, client strategy, or a similar client-facing role
- Experience leading client accounts or marketing programs across multiple digital channels
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing, longer sales cycles, lead quality, nurture, pipeline influence, and revenue-focused marketing
- Working knowledge of SEO/AEO, paid search, LinkedIn, paid social, retargeting, CRO, content, email nurture, analytics, and reporting
- Ability to manage specialists, contractors, timelines, priorities, deliverables, and accountability without needing to personally execute inside every platform
- Strong client communication, presentation, organization, project leadership, strategic thinking, and follow-up skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving agency environment with multiple clients
- Actively uses AI tools and understands how AEO, AI search visibility, and search behavior are evolving
Bonus Points
- Experience in healthcare, SaaS, technology, manufacturing, professional services, or other complex B2B categories
- Experience with tools like HubSpot, GA4, Looker Studio, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or CallRail
- Agency experience managing multiple client accounts
- Experience improving reporting, client communication, or account strategy processes
This Role Is Probably Not a Fit If
- Your primary focus is hands-on paid media buying, PPC, SEO execution, social media management, content writing, or in-platform optimization
- You prefer spending most of your time inside Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, SEO tools, or other execution platforms
- You are looking for a single-channel specialist role rather than a client-facing strategy and project leadership role
- You have not led client meetings, managed client relationships, or coordinated multiple specialists/workstreams
- You are not comfortable discussing performance, lead quality, conversion, pipeline, and business outcomes with clients
Job Details

- Weekly Hours: Up to 20 hours
- Compensation: $40-65/hr based on experience
